A huge and magnificent modern theatre, no less than such a city deserves. ( personally I like the old Mariinsky more, just cause I like classic. But this is a great building!)

Fantastic venue. At time of posting this place is cash only. VTB Cashpoint in old Marinski but likely to be out of cash. Another cashpoint across the road from entrance.

Architecturally stunning, modern opera house with great acoustics and sightlines. I recommend stalls section if you can afford (close to the action), but the balconies are still good seats.

Modern theatre stunning against the backdrop of historical SPB. Ballet (Cinderella) was fresh and also modern. Amazing experience, a must do in SPB.

Good acoustics, you can see the scene from every corner of odeum. You better get tickets a long time before performance.
